Larkspur Landing

Prior to breaking ground, Halleck was engaged to build a brand for a high service, low cost, business hotel. The architect was envisioning an Arts & Crafts theme for construction and interior appointments. Research suggested that a warm environment with comprehensive business services would be a compelling value proposition for business travelers.

After extensive research into the Arts and Crafts movement, which began at the turn of the 20th century, Halleck distilled graphic elements pervasive for more than 50 years. This included a logo and custom typographic treatment. The tagline, "Home Suite Hotel", was adopted to further convey the hotel's positioning. Both were applied to an extensive branding program, in and out.

A decade since the first hotel, Larkspur Hospitality operates 16 hotels in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. They have established themselves as market leaders focused on taking the stress out of business travel.
